CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

Community Outreach

Residents and key stakeholders have local knowledge and valuable information regarding issues and opportunities within the watershed area. Which is why community participation during the watershed planning process is a key element of a successful Stormwater Management Feasibility Study. Here, residents can stay informed of basic information such as what a watershed is, and how land uses upstream impact the health of Stony Brook Harbor, and what this impact means to the community.
